Masters Swimming

The masters swim program is for any adult club member interested in swimming to stay fit. The class is offered Monday through Friday from 5:30 – 7:00 am and 11:30 am – 12:30 pm.

  • Workouts focus on the four strokes, flip turns and stroke efficiency.
  • Workouts are adapted to accommodate individual level, needs and goals.
  • Become a strong confident swimmer.
  • Swimming is a non-impact exercise.
  • The water resistance challenges the cardiovascular and muscular systems without stressing the joints and ligaments.

The lap pool schedule is available, and below are descriptions of the classes that are offered in the lap pool.

Aqua Aerobics II – A vigorous water aerobics class for those seeking the challenge of fast paced workout.

H2O Mix – This class will go from shallow to deep water using the various aqua equipment.

Deep H2O – A high energy and cardio water workout that is mostly in deep water using the aqua equipment.

Get Wet & Move – This workout is designed for shallow and deep water using the aqua equipment. Mostly, though, it’s about moving to the beat and having fun!

Power Workout – An intense class with an ever-changing format to keep you challenged and motivated.

Junior Swim Fitness – Lap swimming for kids. The instructor teaches kids the four competitive strokes, flip turns and stroke efficiency. Participants must be able to swim one full lap in the lap pool.
