Pilates
Pilates is a method of exercise that emphasizes elongation of the muscles while developing a sustained strength of the spine and torso.
The results? A leaner, more defined and supportive musculature. You will stand taller, use your breath with greater efficiency, increase your flexibility and develop a greater range of motion. Pilates will challenge your core, balance and overall body strength. The key to Pilates is that movement and stability come from the core muscles of the body, which are the lower back, abdomens, hips and buttocks. Pilates Mat classes are included in the price of your membership and classes can be found on our Group Exercise schedule. Pilates Reformer classes are typcially private or small groups and are fee based sessions.
