Group Exercise Classes
At Chico Sports Club we believe in moving the body. CSC also believes that being present in the body is key to achieving wellness. We acknowledge that the mind, body, and spirit work together to find balance in one’s life. We offer a diverse group exercise programs where members are free to choose their own personal program to obtain optimal fitness. We are an educated staff committed to bring to each member a safe, effective, personally challenging and extremely fun program.
Here are just a few of the many inspiring classes that everyone is welcome to take:
Classic Sculpt
Improve your bone density, muscle strength and tone with this weight bearing workout. This conditioning class utilizes hand weights, resistance bands and tubing to challenge the participants.
Glutes & Abs
30-minute format that concentrates solely on strengthening and toning the abdominal and gluteal muscles.
Kickboxing
A high-powered cardio class using kicks, punches, and strength training techniques for optimal conditioning.
Power Hour
This high energy cardio class will increase your heart rate and caloric burn using an athletic STEP format. All participants can expect a power packed hour of intense training weight easy to follow choreography.
Pump
A high-energy body sculpting class using weights, bands, balls, steps, etc.
Sit-N-Be-Fit
A class designed for participants who choose the assistance of a chair through their workout. Class works on cardiovascular fitness, strength and flexibility.
H.I.T.
An intense cardio and strength workout combined with interval training, calisthenics, weight training, polymetrics and team drills to help you be all that you can be.
Step
Low-impact, high-intensity, fat burning workout utilizing the step.
Super Step
For the more advanced stepper. Choreography is more intricate and the music may be a little faster than Basic Step.
Basic Step & Sculpt
Basic Step choreography is introduced at an appropriate level and speed for beginning steppers. Combined with muscle scuplting, this class delivers!
Tai Chi Chuan
Promote health, stamina, body awareness, balance, and self-defense. Students will learn Fast Tai Chi, Tuishou (push hands), and DaLu (four corners).
Cardio Sculpt
This class offers the best of both worlds. Cardiovascular exercise combined with strength training intervals make this workout effective and efficient.
Zumba
Zumba is a fusion of Latin and International music and dance that creates a dynamic and exciting fitness system. Dance your way fit with this fun and effective workout.
