Craniosacral Therapy

A gentle hands-on method of evaluating and enhancing the function of the craniosacral system, which consists of the membranes and cerebrospinal fluid that surround and protect the brain and spinal cord.

Deep Tissue

Focuses on the connective tissues using deep, slow movements that help relax muscles and increase flexibility.

Reflexology

Focuses on reflex points on the feet and hands that correspond to each organ, gland and structure in the body.

Reiki

Stimulates natural immunity promotes relaxation and is helpful with both chronic and acute problems. Hands are placed directly on or a few inches above the client’s body in a series of positions corresponding to the body’s chakras and endocrine glands.

Shiatsu/Acupressure

A form of physical therapy that involves pressure on the acupuncture points in order to balance the body’s energy and promote good health.

Sports Massage

Helps athletes prevent sports related injuries by the warm-up and stimulation of muscles. Helps tone muscles, improves blood and lymphatic flow, improves flexibility of muscles, aids in stress reduction, helps prevent muscular adhesions and clears lactic acid build-up.

Structural Integration (a.k.a. Rolfing)

Balances and aligns the body along a natural vertical axis by gradually stretching, lengthening and repositioning the fascia (connective tissue covering, supporting and connecting the muscles or internal organs of the body), restoring its normal length and flexibility.

Swedish Massage

Systematically stroking, kneading and pressing the soft tissues of the entire body in order to induce a state of total relaxation. This is our most common massage.
